                  Child Discovery Center

Purpose
 Our mission is to extend the ministry of and help accomplish the purpose of West Orlando Baptist Church. Our mission is to provide every child a caring and safe learning experience. This will be done by providing care, education, and development for each child enrolled to his/her greatest potential, and by providing developmentally appropriate activities and guidance.

Curriculum

The curriculum used in our Center is selected to meet the needs of each age level. We use the ABEKA curriculum. Along with the age appropriated curriculum, we also learn through playtime, songs, nature, story time, outside playtime, sharing time and much more. The classrooms will stay within the child teacher ratio as set by our licensing agent ACSI.

Personnel

All staff members will be of good moral character. They will all have proper screening and certification. Each teacher will have certification in CPR and First Aid.

Tuition Information

                                           Yearly Registration Fee: effective 9/1/07

$125.00 for first child in the family
$115.00 for each additional child in the family
The yearly registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. This fee holds a position in the program thereby guaranteeing a place. Registration is payable each year.
 

** WEEKLY FEE **

INFANT * TODDLER * K-2 * K-3 * K-4

Hours: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

 

Weekly Tuition is due on Monday of the current week. If not paid by Wednesday of the current week, a $10.00 late fee will be applied to your account on Thursday.  No credit is allotted for holidays or absences.

 

** MONTHLY FEE **

K-2 * K-3 * K-4 CLASS TIME ONLY

Our monthly tuition for K-2, K-3, and K-4 is $335.00 per month and is due the first of each month. Children attending class-time only school hours are:

8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Monday through Friday

 

Monthly tuition is due on the first day of every month. If not paid by the 5th, a $10.00 late fee will be applied to your account. No credit is allotted for holidays or absences. 

 

·       2008-2009 School year (Begins Monday, August 18th)

We hope to be able to keep the current tuition rates for the 2008-2009 school year; however, we will be evaluating this as we get closer to August and we have better estimates for next year's enrollment.

The Supply Fee is due on Tuesday, July 1st and varies by  class due to each classes’ specific needs (i.e., snacks, school  supplies, ABeka  books, room supplies, etc).  The Supply  Fee is Non-Refundable after August 15th.
